Nothing leaves French review until all eight lines are ticked. It takes about six minutes per asset and it is the whole difference between bilingual and translated.
Grade levels use the reader's system. Primaire and secondaire for Quebec, grades elsewhere. Never both in one asset.
Exams are named the way the ministry names them. Épreuve unique, not examen provincial. OQRE, not EQAO, for franco-Ontario.
No France vocabulary. Courriel, infolettre, fin de semaine, clavardage, tutorat, bulletin.
Nothing reads as a calque. If a sentence only makes sense to someone who knows the English original, it is rewritten.
The offer means the same thing. Session, trial, free and package all shift meaning in Quebec French and each one is checked separately.
The CTA is written for the language, not translated. Same promise, different words.
Any number, claim or statistic has a source noted beside it, or it comes out.
The French asset can stand alone. Someone who never sees the English version should not be able to tell there was one.
The weekly rhythm
Plan
Pull this week's calendar rows. Confirm nothing is blocked on a coverage gap or a missing consent.
Write
Long form. One article or one email sequence, written in whichever language leads it.
Second language
The counterpart is written, not translated. Same day so the argument is still fresh.
Review
The eight-line sheet, both languages. Anything that fails goes back with the failing line named.
Schedule and read
Queue next week. Read last week's numbers split by language and write one line on what changes.
